Roost Christmas Party
On Saturday, December 13th, we celebrated our Christmas Party at the Carney Rod and Gun Club. Attendees enjoyed a holiday dinner, followed by a short Roost meeting, and Roost Gift Exchange! A special thank you to those that make events such as this possible! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
Maryland Food Bank - Battle of the Roosts
The Battle of the Ravens Roosts charity fundraiser for the Ravens Food and Funds Drive through the Maryland Food Bank has concluded! Our Ravens Roost #50 came out on top with an astounding $2,204.43 in total donations, more than quadrupling our $500 goal! Overall, the participating Roosts raised over $4,500, nearly doubling the $2,500 goal, helping to feed Maryland families in need. 60 donors across 8 Roosts raised enough to provide 4,416 meals! Congratulations Ravens Roost 50 and thank you for your support to all who donated! The Maryland Food Bank accepts donations year around to help feed hungry Marylanders. Find out more here!
Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser
On Monday December 1st we raised a total of $260 at the Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser and Bake-sale Event! Thank you to everyone that came out to support the Roost by dining at Texas Roadhouse, and for the volunteers that helped make this possible!

Feed The Families
On Saturday November 22nd we accomplished packing 400 complete Thanksgiving meals and delivered them to local schools, churches, and charities. Thank you to all the members who took time out of their busy schedule to volunteer today. A huge thank you to our sponsor Shoppers Food! Thank you Carney Rod & Gun Club for your hospitality and meeting place. A HUGE shout out to the Hamilton Young Marines for all your support and grunt work unloading the truck and loading the food into the vehicles.
Annual Crab Feast
The Ravens Roost 50 Annual Crab Feast was hosted on November 1st at the Carney Rod and Gun Club. We had over 70 in attendance, including members and guests. A special thank you to the volunteers that make these events possible!

Charitable Donations
The Maryland Center for Veterans Education and Training (MCVET) was selected as the Ravens Roost 50’s charity of choice for September. John Caruso, Director of Residential Services and Bernard Jones, Reintegration Program Manager, accepted the donation, pictured with Council President Dan Early and RR 50 President Betty Stahm.
Tailgate Lot Cleanup
Thank You! to the members who came out to help with the lot clean up! Our Tailgate Lot supports our charities and funds many of the Roost activities. We couldn't do it without your support!

Charitable Donations
At our August 27th meeting, Ravens Roost 50 of Carney donated $2,000 each to our core charities: Hamilton Young Marines and Carney Rod and Fun Club. Congratulations and Thank You to both of these organizations for all they do for the community!

Ravens Roost Convention Parade
The Flock descended on Ocean City over the weekend to gather for the annual Council of Baltimore Ravens Roost Convention! Members of our Ravens Roost 50 were represented in the parade even on Saturday morning alongside other Roosts from across the state.
Ravens Roost 50 Scholarship
Congratulations to the 2025 Ravens Roost 50 Foundation for Families Scholarship Recipients at Parkville High School! Charity Committee Member Tracy Seibert had the honor of presenting four Scholarships worth $1,000 per year for up to four years. The scholarships are to help support students in our community in their upcoming college semesters. Congratulations and best of luck to all of this year's graduates in their future academic endeavors!

During our July 2015 meeting we had guest speakers from Herodogs.org. Barbara and Moira assisted by May explained how hero dogs like May are helping our veterans.
