Since our founding in 1999, Ravens Roost 50 has endeavored to set themselves apart from other fan-based organizations. We wanted to be known not only for our support of the Baltimore Ravens, but also for our charitable work within our community.
In 2003, we registered as a 501(c)(3) organization which was named 'Ravens Roost 50 Foundation for Families Inc.'
Through this foundation, so far we have donated over $400,000 to our core charities, which include:
St. Vincent's Villa Children's Center in Timonium, which is a residential treatment center. They provide comprehensive therapeutic services to children ages 5-15.
PKD Foundation (www.pkdcure.org) - Polycystic Kidney Disease in which fluid-filled cyst develop and enlarge in both kidneys, eventually leading to kidney failure.Fisher House Foundation (www.fisherhouse.org) - Provide military families housing close to a loved one during hospitalization.Special Olympics - Ravens Roost 50, along with other Council of Roosts organizations from around the state participate in the Maryland Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge held at Sandy Point State Park.Feed the community- The week prior to Thanksgiving, we spend the day bagging and delivering a full Thanksgiving dinner to hundreds of families in the surrounding neighborhoods.
As our organization has grown we have been able to help out to more people in our community. If you have a sponsorship or donation request:
